Privacy

This is a small independent blog, not a data business. I collect as little as the site can function on, and I do not sell or trade anything about you. Here is the whole picture.

Analytics

I use a basic, privacy-minded analytics tool to see which reviews get read and which get ignored. It reports totals: page views, rough visitor counts, which article sent you to which. I do not build profiles of individual readers and I do not have your name attached to any of it.

Cookies

The site sets a couple of small cookies. One remembers your light or dark preference. Analytics may set one to tell a returning visit from a fresh one. If you block cookies in your browser the reviews still read fine; you will just lose the theme memory.

Comments and the contact form

Leave a comment or write in through the contact form and I keep what you typed plus the email address you gave, so I can reply and so the comment shows an author. That is the only reason I hold it. Comment authors’ emails are never published and never handed to anyone else.

The newsletter

There is an optional newsletter for new reviews. If you sign up, your email sits with the mailing service and is used for nothing but sending those emails. Every message has an unsubscribe link, and using it removes you for good. I do not collect email addresses in any other way, and signing up is never a condition of reading anything here.

Links out

Reviews link to plugin makers and, sometimes, to shops. Once you click through you are on their site under their rules, and I cannot speak for what they log. This policy only covers Stoneye Sound.

Changes and questions

If any of this changes the page gets updated with a new date. Ask me anything about your own data through the contact form and I will answer.
