By reading Stoneye Sound you are agreeing to the few things below. None of them are unusual for a blog run by one engineer.

The writing is opinion

Everything here is my own judgment about audio tools and mixing technique, formed from using them on real work. Your ears, your room, your material, and your budget are not mine. Test things for yourself before you commit money or a deadline to them. The content is provided as is, with no guarantee that a plugin will behave for you the way it behaved for me.

Links out

When I point at a plugin, a shop, or somebody else’s write-up, it is because the link belongs in that sentence. Nobody pays me to put it there, and no shop gets a softer verdict for stocking the thing. That is what the line in the footer means. If the arrangement ever changes, it gets written on this page first, before it touches anything I publish.

What you can do with the content

Read it, share a link to it, quote a sentence or two with credit back to the page. Please do not republish whole articles, or feed them into a scraper or a training set, without asking first. The reviews, the writing, and the images are mine unless clearly credited otherwise; plugin names and logos belong to their makers.

Comments

Comments are open because good discussion makes the reviews better. Keep them on topic and civil. I remove spam, personal attacks, and marketing dressed up as a comment, and I do not have to explain each one.

Liability

I am not responsible for what happens after you act on something you read here, whether that is a purchase, a plugin that crashes your session, or a mix decision that did not land. Use your own judgment and keep backups.
